Frequently Asked Questions
Are these erasers a fun, affordable small gift for a student or teacher?
Yes. The novelty pencil shape, bright yellow color, and trusted Ticonderoga brand make them a charming, budget-friendly gift for students, teachers, and creative friends.
Do they work as a good party favor for a classroom birthday or school celebration?
Yes. The 36-count pack is a convenient size for filling classroom party favor bags, and the pencil shape fits the school theme perfectly.
Is the packaging giftable, or will I need to wrap them myself?
The erasers ship in standard retail packaging. For a more polished presentation, you can place a few in a small gift bag with tissue paper or tie them with ribbon for party favors and stocking stuffers.
Are these a good last-minute gift idea when I need something fast?
Yes. Because they ship in small, ready-to-go packs, Ticonderoga Pencil Shaped Erasers are a convenient last-minute gift for teachers, students, coworkers, and neighbors.
Would these work as a teacher appreciation gift during back-to-school season?
Yes. Teachers frequently restock erasers throughout the year, so a pack of Ticonderoga Pencil Shaped Erasers is a thoughtful and practical back-to-school or teacher appreciation gift.
Can I pair these erasers with other items to make a small gift bundle?
Yes. They pair nicely with pencils, notebooks, stickers, or treats to create a charming back-to-school, holiday, or thank-you gift bundle.
Are these erasers safe to give to young children as a gift?
Yes. They are PMA certified non-toxic and latex-free, making them a safe small gift for young children when given with normal, age-appropriate use.
How do novelty erasers compare to a generic gift card as a small gift?
A pack of pencil shaped erasers offers a more personal, playful touch than a generic gift card, especially for students, teachers, and anyone with a school- or office-themed gift need.
Are these erasers a better gift than a plain box of erasers?
Yes. The pencil-shaped novelty form factor and classic Ticonderoga branding give these erasers more gift appeal than a plain, generic eraser pack.
Will the recipient actually use these, or are they just decorative?
They are both decorative and fully functional. Recipients can use them for everyday erasing while still enjoying the novelty pencil shape.
Is this gift appropriate for a coworker, or is it too childish for an office setting?
The pencil shape is playful but still office-appropriate, and the trusted Ticonderoga brand makes it a fun, lighthearted desk gift for coworkers.
Are these erasers small enough to fit in a stocking or small gift bag?
Yes. The individual erasers are small and lightweight, which makes them easy to tuck into stockings, gift bags, and small holiday packages.
Should I worry about giving an eraser that the recipient is allergic to?
These erasers are latex-free, which makes them a safer choice for gift-givers who are unsure whether the recipient has a latex sensitivity.
Can I order the 432-count pack to split into many small gifts at once?
Yes. The 432-count bulk pack is a convenient way to split erasers into many small gifts, party favors, or classroom giveaways at a low per-unit cost.
Do these erasers feel like a thoughtful, personal gift or a filler item?
Because they are branded, latex-free, and shaped like a classic pencil, they feel like a considered small gift, especially when paired with a card or tucked into a themed gift bag.
Is this a good gift for a student heading back to school?
Yes. Pairing a few of these pencil shaped erasers with a new set of pencils, notebooks, or a pencil case makes a charming and useful back-to-school gift.
How do I use a Ticonderoga pencil shaped eraser to get the cleanest erase?
Hold the eraser like a small pencil and use light, steady strokes across the pencil marks. Avoid pressing too hard, which can damage the paper. Brush away any leftover rubber bits with your hand or a soft cloth for a clean finish.
How should I store these erasers so they last longer?
Store the erasers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keeping them in a pencil case, desk drawer, or supply bin helps prevent them from drying out or collecting dust between uses.
Can I use these erasers on colored pencil or charcoal drawings?
These erasers are formulated primarily for standard graphite pencil marks. For heavy colored pencil or charcoal work, a dedicated art eraser or kneaded eraser will give better results and protect the paper surface.
Do these erasers fit standard pencil eraser holders or classroom dispensers?
Because they are shaped like a small pencil rather than a flat block, they are best used handheld rather than loaded into mechanical pencil eraser holders. They work well in standard classroom supply cups, caddies, and dispenser bins.
Are these erasers compatible with the Ticonderoga pencils my school already uses?
Yes. Ticonderoga Pencil Shaped Erasers are designed to complement the Ticonderoga pencil line and match the brand's signature yellow color, making them a natural pairing for classrooms and offices already using Ticonderoga pencils.
What is included when I order a pack of these erasers?
Each pack contains only the Ticonderoga Pencil Shaped Erasers in the count size you select (3, 36, or 432). No additional accessories, pencils, or storage containers are included, so you can add them directly to existing pencil cases, supply bins, or gift bags.
Are these erasers safe for everyday use at home and school?
Yes. The erasers are PMA certified non-toxic and made from latex-free rubber, making them safe for everyday erasing in homes, classrooms, offices, and other shared environments when used as intended.
How long do these erasers typically last with regular use?
With normal classroom, homework, or office use, each eraser lasts through several weeks of regular erasing. Buying the 36-count or 432-count bulk pack ensures you always have a fresh eraser on hand.
What is the difference between pencil shaped erasers and standard block erasers?
Pencil shaped erasers combine the function of a standard block eraser with a novelty, pencil-like form factor and signature yellow color. They erase just as effectively but add a decorative, recognizable look to pencil cases, desks, and gift packaging.
