Frequently Asked Questions
Will this clipboard actually help me get through nursing rounds faster, or is it just a folder with a clip?
It replaces the folder, pencil pouch, and separate clipboard you are usually juggling. The integrated compartment holds over 200 pages of charts and assessments, the built-in slot keeps up to 6 pens within reach, and the hard writing surface lets you chart while standing at the bedside without hunting for a flat surface.
Can I use this clipboard to grade papers at home without flipping through a messy stack?
Yes. Teachers store rosters, lesson plans, and the current class set of papers inside the compartment, then flip the lid to grade on a clean hard surface. The low-profile clip with finger grips keeps pages flat and reduces hand fatigue during long grading sessions.
Does the hard surface really work for writing while standing, or does it feel flimsy?
The 10 inch by 14-1/2 inch polypropylene surface is rigid enough to write on comfortably while standing. Nurses doing bedside assessments, event staff running surveys, and field interviewers collecting data at pop-up sites all use it as a portable writing desk without the surface bending under pen pressure.
Will this help me stay organized between classes or between patient rooms?
The hinge-and-clasp closure keeps every page contained, so you can move from one room, one class, or one client visit to the next without loose sheets sliding out. Combined with the dedicated pen slot, you stop losing time searching for a writing tool or chasing a fallen handout.
Is the storage compartment large enough to replace my current binder or folder system?
The compartment holds 200 plus letter-sized pages, which is roughly twice the capacity of a standard clipboard. Most nurses, teachers, and students find it replaces a slim binder for daily use, while case managers appreciate the compact footprint when traveling between client sites.
Will this clipboard look professional enough for a hospital floor or client meeting?
Yes. The 23 color options include solid professional finishes in black, navy, and charcoal for clinical and corporate settings, plus pastel and glitter variants for educators and students who want a more personal look.
How portable is it compared to a traditional clipboard plus folder?
It measures only 1-1/4 inch deep when closed, so it slides into a tote, messenger bag, or under a desk without the bulk of carrying a separate folder and pencil case. One item does the job of three.
Does it actually hold up during a full 12-hour shift?
The polypropylene body and metal clasp are designed for daily professional use. Nurses and case managers report it holds up to constant opening, closing, and transport between rooms or vehicles without the hinge loosening or the clip bending.
How do I load paper into the clipboard without crumpling it?
Open the clasp, lift the lid, and slide your letter-sized documents flat into the storage compartment. The clip on the inside of the lid holds your active page in place for writing, and the rest of the stack stays protected underneath.
How do I clean the clipboard if it gets dirty?
Wipe the polypropylene surface with a damp cloth, mild soap, or a standard disinfectant wipe. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that could scratch the finish, and dry the surface before storing papers inside.
Can the clipboard be used as a standing writing surface at events or for surveys?
Yes. The rigid 10 inch by 14-1/2 inch hard surface supports comfortable writing while standing, which is useful for event check-in, mobile surveys, voter registration, bedside assessments, and other field data collection.
Does this clipboard hold legal-size and A4 paper, or only letter size?
The storage compartment is sized for standard letter-size paper, which is the most common 8.5 by 11 inch format. Legal and A4 sheets are slightly longer and will overhang the compartment, so they are not recommended for the storage section though they can still be clipped on top for writing.
Will standard pens, pencils, and highlighters fit in the built-in holder?
Yes. The pen slot is designed to accommodate up to 6 standard writing instruments including ballpoint pens, gel pens, mechanical pencils, wooden pencils, and most highlighters of normal diameter.
What is included in the box when I order this clipboard?
You receive one Sooez clipboard with integrated storage compartment, built-in pen holder, and low-profile metal clip. Pens, paper, and any decorative accessories are not included and can be purchased separately.
Is the clipboard durable enough for daily professional or school use?
Yes. The polypropylene body, metal clasp, and metal clip are designed for repeated daily use. With normal care the clipboard holds up through full school semesters, nursing programs, and ongoing field work without the hinge or clip failing.
Does the clipboard have any warranty or guarantee?
Warranty terms depend on the retailer where the clipboard is purchased. Check the specific seller's return and warranty policy at checkout for full details on coverage.
How is this different from a standard clipboard with a separate folder?
A standard clipboard only holds the page you are actively writing on and offers no storage for additional forms, pens, or loose sheets. This product combines a hard writing surface, a clip for the active page, a sealed compartment for over 200 additional pages, and a built-in pen holder in one slim 1-1/4 inch deep case, replacing the need to carry multiple items.
