Frequently Asked Questions
Will these sticky notes actually stay on my monitor, laptop, or cubicle wall without curling or falling off?
Yes. The 2X sticking power adhesive is engineered to hold firmly on vertical and high-touch surfaces like monitor bezels, laptop lids, whiteboards, and cubicle fabric walls. You can write a reminder, stick it up, and trust it will still be there the next morning.
Can I move a sticky note from one task to another on my agile board without losing stickiness?
Absolutely. The restickable adhesive lets you peel a note off, reposition it on a new column or card, and stick it again without curling or losing grip. It is ideal for daily stand-ups, kanban boards, and sprint planning where cards move constantly.
Are the neon colors bright enough to spot priority tasks across a busy desk?
Yes. The Supernova Neon palette, including Acid Lime, Iris Infusion, Guava, Aqua Splash, and Tropical Pink, is designed for high visibility. Most users color-code by priority, with the brightest shades reserved for urgent or owner-tagged items.
How long will a 24-pack last with everyday office use?
With 70 sheets per pad across 24 pads, you get 1,680 sheets total. A typical office worker uses roughly 5 to 10 sheets per day, which means a single 24-pack typically lasts a full user between 6 and 12 months.
Will removing the notes leave residue on my monitor, glass partition, or whiteboard?
No. The adhesive is formulated to remove cleanly from glass, painted walls, whiteboards, and most monitor surfaces. You can peel the note off without sticky residue, surface damage, or the need for cleaning spray.
Is this a good bulk option for outfitting a whole team or department?
Yes. The 24-pack bulk format is one of the most cost-efficient ways to standardize sticky notes across a team. Many project managers order one pack per team member so color-coding systems stay consistent across sprints.
Will the notes bleed through when I write on them with a Sharpie or marker?
The paper is optimized for ballpoint, gel, and most fine-tip pens without bleed-through. Heavier markers like chisel-tip Sharpies may show some shadow on the reverse side, so most productivity users pair these notes with standard gel or rollerball pens.
How do these compare to generic office store-brand sticky notes?
Post-it Super Sticky notes offer roughly 2X the holding power of basic sticky notes, a wider neon color range, and cleaner restickability. For productivity users who rely on notes staying put during meetings and sprints, the upgrade is noticeable within the first week.
Are these sticky notes recyclable after use?
Yes. The paper is recyclable and sourced from certified, responsibly managed forests, so you can toss used notes into standard paper recycling rather than the trash.
I'm worried the bulk pack will dry out if I don't use them fast. Do they have a long shelf life?
Unused pads stay fresh for several years when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The adhesive does not meaningfully degrade over a typical 1 to 2 year usage window, so the 24-pack will perform like new from the first pad to the last.
How do I use these sticky notes without leaving residue on walls or documents?
Press the note firmly onto a clean, dry surface for a couple of seconds to set the adhesive. When you want to remove it, peel slowly from one corner at a low angle. The adhesive is engineered to release cleanly from glass, painted walls, whiteboards, monitors, and paper without leaving sticky residue or surface damage.
What's the best way to store sticky note pads so they don't dry out or curl?
Keep unused pads in their original sleeve or a desk drawer, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and humidity. A cool, dry storage spot preserves the adhesive for years, and pressing a slightly curled pad under a book for an hour before use will flatten it back out.
What pens and markers write best on these sticky notes without bleeding or smearing?
Ballpoint pens, gel pens, and fine-tip rollerballs write cleanly on the 3 x 3 inch sheets without bleed-through. Standard highlighters also work well for color-coding. Heavier chisel-tip markers can show some shadow on the reverse side, so pair those with single-sided notes.
Do these sticky notes work on fabric cubicle walls, cork boards, and felt surfaces?
Yes. The 2X adhesive is strong enough to grip lightly textured surfaces like cubicle fabric, cork, and felt. For very porous or dusty surfaces, press and hold the note for a few extra seconds to set the initial bond.
Will these notes stick to a stainless steel fridge or only to regular fridges?
They stick to any smooth, non-porous surface, including stainless steel, glass, and painted metal. For textured stainless finishes, a quick wipe-down with a dry cloth before sticking will help the adhesive set fully.
What's included in the 24-pack and what should I buy separately?
The pack includes 24 pads of 3 x 3 inch Post-it Super Sticky Notes in the Supernova Neon color assortment, with 70 sheets per pad for 1,680 sheets total. No accessories are required, but pairing the pads with a desk caddy, pen, or cork board makes a complete setup.
Is the paper safe for children, pets, and food-prep areas?
The notes are made from paper and a standard water-based adhesive, with no harsh chemicals, and are safe for use around children and pets in typical household settings. As with any paper product, keep them away from open flames and food-prep surfaces where paper debris is not desired.
Are these sticky notes eco-friendly and recyclable?
Yes. The paper is recyclable in standard paper recycling programs and is sourced from certified, responsibly managed forests. The pads are also made in the USA, which supports shorter supply chains for buyers who value domestic manufacturing.
How are Post-it Super Sticky Notes different from regular Post-it Notes?
Post-it Super Sticky Notes use a stronger adhesive that holds roughly 2X longer on vertical and high-touch surfaces compared to basic Post-it Notes. They also feature the brighter Supernova Neon palette. Standard Post-it Notes are still a great everyday option, but Super Sticky is the better pick when notes need to stay put for days or weeks.
