Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Loving Pets Bella a good gift for someone who just got a new puppy or adopted a dog?
Yes. It is a practical, stylish, and immediately useful gift for new puppy and new adoption households. The medium size covers the 20-35 lb range that most growing dogs pass through, and the dishwasher-safe, no-spill design makes the early weeks much easier for a new pet parent.
Can I order this as a housewarming gift for a friend with a dog or cat?
Absolutely. The Bella was designed to live in visible parts of the home, so it works well as a housewarming gift. With 11 color options, you can match the bowl to the recipient's kitchen or living room palette for a thoughtful, personal touch.
Is the Bella a good gift for a dog mom, cat mom, or pet parent who already has everything?
Yes. Many pet parents stick with the plastic bowls they started with because they have not seen a better option. The Bella replaces that everyday item with an upgraded, design-forward version, making it a gift that gets daily use rather than sitting in a drawer.
Can this be given as a holiday or Valentine's Day gift, or is it more of a practical purchase?
It works for both. The polished finish, coordinated color palette, and award-winning design give it enough presentation value for holiday and Valentine's gifting, while the practical, no-spill function ensures it will actually be used every day rather than tucked away.
Does the Bella come in giftable color options like Coastal Pink or Champagne for a special occasion?
Yes. The color range includes softer lifestyle tones such as Coastal Pink and Champagne alongside richer options like Espresso and Copper, so you can select a hue that matches the tone of the gift and the recipient's taste.
Is this a good last-minute gift, or does it need to be planned in advance?
Because it is a single self-contained item with no assembly or add-ons, the Bella is a strong last-minute gift. Order the recipient's preferred color, and the bowl is ready to gift as soon as it arrives.
How does gifting this compare to gifting a generic pet store bowl?
A generic pet store bowl is functional but forgettable. The Bella combines vet-recommended stainless steel, an award-winning design, and 11 designer colors, which makes the gift feel considered and elevated. For a pet-loving friend, that difference is meaningful.
Can I pair two or more bowls together as a coordinated gift for a multi-pet household?
Yes. Buying matching colors across the four available sizes is a popular gifting move for multi-pet homes. You can pair a medium dog bowl with a smaller cat bowl in the same color for a coordinated, ready-to-use feeding station gift.
I'm worried the recipient will already have a bowl they like. Is there a real reason to upgrade?
Most pet owners are still using plastic or basic steel bowls that slide, scratch, and hold odors. The Bella addresses all three of those pain points in one package, so even owners attached to their current setup tend to appreciate the upgrade once they try it.
Is there any risk the bowl will arrive looking cheap and ruin the gifting moment?
No. The Bella ships in retail-ready packaging, and the weighted stainless body with polished color exterior gives a premium feel out of the box. It looks and feels like a quality gift, not a mass-market pet product.
Can I include a personalized note or is it sold only as a standard retail item?
It is sold as a standard retail item, but because the design is so giftable on its own, a handwritten card paired with the bowl creates a complete presentation. Many gift-givers add a small tag with the recipient's pet's name to make it feel personal.
How do I clean the Loving Pets Bella bowl for daily use?
Remove the soy-based rubber anti-skid ring from the base, then place both pieces in the dishwasher on a normal cycle. For quick daily rinses, hand-wash the stainless interior with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry. The removable ring is the key step that keeps the no-slip base hygienic over time.
Can the rubber ring be used in the dishwasher, or does it need to be hand-washed?
The rubber ring is dishwasher-safe and can go in with the bowl on a normal cycle. Many owners simply remove the ring, place both pieces in the dishwasher together, and reassemble after drying. Hand-washing is also fine if preferred.
How do I choose the right size Bella bowl for my dog or cat?
Loving Pets offers four size variants covering 10 to 100 pound dogs, plus smaller options suited to cats. The medium size holds 27 oz with a 6.75 inch diameter and is designed for 20-35 pound dogs. Pick the smallest size that comfortably holds your pet's normal portion to keep the feeding station tidy.
Is this bowl compatible with elevated feeding stands or raised feeders?
Yes. The Bella works with most standard elevated feeding stands that accept a 6.75 inch diameter bowl in the medium size. The rubber base still provides grip on a raised platform, so you can combine it with a stand for taller or senior pets without losing the no-slip benefit.
Will the bowl fit common pet feeding mat trays or placemats?
Yes. The medium bowl at 6.75 inches in diameter fits most standard pet feeding mats. However, many owners skip the mat entirely because the non-skid rubber ring already protects the floor, which is part of the design intent.
What is included in the box when I order the Bella bowl?
Each order includes one Loving Pets Bella bowl with a stainless steel interior and poly-resin exterior in your selected color, plus the removable soy-based rubber anti-skid ring pre-fitted to the base. No additional accessories or attachments are required to start using the bowl.
Do I need to buy anything else to start using the bowl, or is it ready out of the box?
Nothing else is required. Remove the bowl from the packaging, give it a quick wash, and it is ready for food or water. The rubber ring is already installed, so there is no assembly.
Is the bowl safe to use every day for years, or will it wear out?
The Bella is designed for daily long-term use. The stainless steel interior resists rust, corrosion, and odor absorption, while the poly-resin exterior is built to handle years of dishwasher cycles. With normal care, the bowl will not degrade, warp, or retain smell like plastic alternatives.
What happens if my dog chews the rubber ring? Is it a hazard?
The soy-based rubber ring is durable under normal use, but no pet bowl is truly chew-proof. If your dog is an aggressive chewer, inspect the ring regularly and replace it if you see tears or missing pieces. The ring is removable by design specifically so it can be swapped out or replaced.
What is the difference between a stainless steel dog bowl and a regular stainless steel dog bowl from a generic brand?
A generic stainless steel bowl typically offers only the hygienic interior, with a thin, lightweight body that slides on hard floors and a plain industrial look. The Loving Pets Bella adds a polished poly-resin exterior in 11 designer colors, a removable soy-based non-skid ring, dishwasher-safe construction, and a patented award-winning design. The result is a bowl that functions better at mealtime and looks at home in a styled kitchen or living space.
