Frequently Asked Questions
Does the jasmine tea come in a gift-ready presentation, or do I need to wrap it myself?
The 20 sachets arrive in a sturdy, reusable tin that looks polished on its own, so most gift-givers hand it over without extra wrapping. For a holiday or housewarming presentation, you can add a ribbon to the lid and it is ready to give.
Is this a thoughtful gift for someone who has never tried loose-leaf or pearl tea before?
Yes. Each serving is pre-portioned in a pyramid sachet, so the recipient gets the visual unfolding pearls and the loose-leaf aroma without needing a tin, scale, or infuser. It is a friendly introduction to a more elevated style of tea.
Can I give this to a friend or family member with dietary restrictions?
Yes. The blend is certified Kosher and gluten-free, which makes it a safe choice for hosts and recipients who need to watch ingredients. The clear labeling on the tin also reassures guests when it is served at gatherings.
Is this an appropriate thank-you or hostess gift for a dinner party?
It is one of the most popular hostess options in our collection because the reusable tin reads as a present rather than a grocery item, and jasmine pairs naturally with desserts and rich dinners. Many customers keep a spare tin on hand for last-minute invitations.
Will a single tin feel like a substantial enough gift, or should I pair it with something else?
A full 20-count tin is a considered, full-size present on its own and lasts the recipient weeks of daily cups. If you want to upgrade it, it pairs beautifully with honey, a small teacup, or a handwritten note tied to the lid.
I need a birthday gift for my mom who loves tea but I am not sure what she already owns. Is this a safe pick?
Yes. Hand-rolled jasmine pearls are a category many tea drinkers have not tried, so it feels new even for someone with a full collection. The reusable tin also means she can refill it with her favorite loose-leaf once the pearls are gone.
Is this a good last-minute gift that ships quickly from a small online shop?
The product is shelf-stable with a long freshness window, so it can ship on short notice without any expedited handling. A printed manufacture and use-by date on the tin lets you confirm freshness at a glance before giving it.
Can I ship this directly to the recipient as a surprise gift?
Yes. The tin is sealed and durable enough to survive transit without crushing the sachets inside, and the minimalist design travels well as a surprise delivery. Many of our customers send it straight to friends in other states for birthdays and housewarmings.
Would this work as a corporate or client gifting option?
It works well for professional gifting because the tin looks refined, the brand has 30-plus years of heritage, and the price point reads as generous without being excessive. It is appropriate for client thank-yous, holiday gifts to staff, and referral thank-yous.
Is this a better gift than a standard box of tea bags?
Yes, for a recipient who enjoys the ritual. The hand-rolled pearls, the room-filling jasmine aroma, and the reusable tin create a more memorable unboxing than a standard paperboard box of bags. It signals that you put thought into the present.
How is this different from the discontinued Teavana jasmine pearl tea?
Dragon Pearl Jasmine is the closest direct replacement for the Teavana blend that loyal customers have been searching for since it was discontinued. It uses the same hand-rolled pearl style with a comparable jasmine intensity, so it transitions seamlessly into an existing tea routine.
Will the jasmine scent fade quickly once the tin is opened, ruining the gifting moment?
The tin is designed to preserve aroma between uses, and the jasmine fragrance is locked in the pearls themselves rather than added as a spray. The recipient will experience the full scent the moment they open the lid, which is part of the gift's appeal.
I am worried the recipient will not like floral teas. Is this too perfumed?
The jasmine on this blend is sourced from Fuan, China and is infused into the pearls naturally rather than scented artificially, so the fragrance reads as fresh and true to the flower rather than soapy. Customers who do not usually enjoy floral teas often find this one smooth and balanced.
What if the recipient prefers black tea or coffee over green and white blends?
The white and green tea base makes it lighter than a breakfast black tea, but the jasmine aroma and milk-friendly profile convert a lot of coffee-leaning drinkers. For someone who firmly prefers black, we would suggest pairing it with a small jar of honey so they can customize the cup.
How do I brew the jasmine pearls for the best flavor?
Heat fresh water to about 175°F, place one sachet in a mug, and steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove the sachet and enjoy. For a lighter cup, shorten the steep time. For a liter of iced tea, use one sachet in cold or room-temperature water and refrigerate overnight.
Can I re-steep the same sachet through the day?
Yes. The hand-rolled pearls hold their flavor across multiple infusions, so you can re-add hot water to the same sachet several times without bitterness. Many customers keep a single sachet going for an entire afternoon of slow sipping.
What is the difference between the 175°F recommendation and the 160°F sometimes mentioned for white tea?
This blend is a combination of white and green tea pearls, and 175°F is the recommended temperature for the blend as a whole. Brewing at 160°F will produce a softer, less astringent cup if you prefer a more delicate flavor, but 175°F is the standard guidance for a balanced brew.
Is the tin dishwasher safe, or do I wash it by hand?
Hand washing is recommended. A quick rinse with warm water and a soft cloth is enough to keep the label and finish in good condition, and the tin will be ready to refill or repurpose for years.
Are the sachets individually wrapped for freshness?
Yes. The 20 sachets are individually wrapped inside the tin so each one stays sealed until you are ready to brew. This is what allows the tin to hold its aroma and flavor across the full use-by window printed on the container.
What is in the tin when it arrives?
Each tin contains 20 individually wrapped pyramid sachets of hand-rolled jasmine pearls. There are no extra inserts, samples, or accessories included, so what you see in the product description is exactly what ships.
Is this tea safe for people with common food allergies?
The blend is certified Kosher and gluten-free, and the ingredient list is limited to green and white tea pearls infused with jasmine flowers. For specific allergen questions beyond gluten, we recommend reviewing the printed label on the tin before consuming.
How long will a single tin last before it loses flavor?
Each tin is marked with a manufacture date and a use-by date, and the individually wrapped sachets keep the pearls fresh until you open them. As long as the tin is stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, the flavor will hold through the printed use-by window.
What is the difference between jasmine pearl tea and jasmine green tea?
Jasmine pearl tea is made by rolling the tea leaves into small pearls and infusing them with jasmine blossoms multiple times during processing, which locks the aroma into the leaf itself. Jasmine green tea is typically a flat or open leaf scented once with jasmine, which produces a lighter and often less consistent flavor.
