Single Control & Multi Control

One remote is able to control multi receivers by default. If you want separate control, restart the power of the receiver, and within 5 seconds, press and hold "SPEED-" and "SPEED+" buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until lights flash, now the frequency will be changed and only this remote can control this receiver.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this help me set a consistent focus lighting level in my home office?

Yes. Pick a brightness level that keeps you alert without glare, hit one of the 25/50/100 percent presets, and the memory function will bring it back exactly the same way the next time you power up. That consistency is what makes the light feel like a real work tool.

Can I use the same dimmer for desk task light and background ambient light?

Yes. The 2-pack is ideal for that. Pair controller A to your desk back lighting at a brighter level and controller B to your shelf or monitor bias lighting at a lower level, then use a second remote for the ambient zone. Two remotes, two clear roles.

Is there a way to set a low level for late-night work without fiddling every time?

Yes. Use the 10-level dim to drop to your preferred night brightness, and the memory function will hold that level through the next power cycle. You can also lock in 25 percent with the quick-select button for a reliable, repeatable night mode.

Will the 8 flashing modes distract me while I am working?

Only if you turn them on. The remote keeps static dim mode and dynamic mode clearly separated, and the memory function will not drift into a flash mode on its own. For pure productivity, you stay on static dim and the flash modes stay out of the way.

How does the 15m RF range help in a home office?

You can keep the remote on your desk, and it works even if the controller is hidden behind a monitor, inside a cable tray, or under a standing desk. You do not have to aim, and you do not have to get up to adjust mid-task.

Can I dim the strip from my desk without breaking my focus to walk across the room?

Yes. That is the main appeal for productivity buyers. One tap on the remote adjusts brightness in place, so you can stay in deep work mode and still respond to changing light needs, like a video call versus focused writing.

Does the auto-shutdown or memory function help me end a work session cleanly?

The memory function is the productivity win here. When you power the strip back on the next morning, it returns to your last working brightness, so there is no fiddling before you start. It removes one tiny decision from the start of every workday.

Can I use this for a studio, workshop, or maker space with mixed tasks?

Yes. The 10-level dim covers detail work at high brightness and inspection or background use at lower brightness. The flashing modes are also useful for visual fatigue breaks or as a quick signal that a print or job is done.

How does this compare to a desk lamp with a built-in dimmer?

A desk lamp lights one small area, while a strip on a shelf, behind a monitor, or under a cabinet gives you a much wider wash of light. With this dimmer you get the spread of ambient lighting plus the focus benefit of adjustable brightness, in one setup.

How does this compare to a smart bulb for a home office?

A smart bulb is great for one fixture but usually needs an app or voice command to dim, which is a context switch during work. This RF dimmer is a single button press, no phone, no hub, no waiting for a voice assistant to respond.

How does this compare to a plug-in dimmer for a workshop?

A plug-in dimmer works, but it is usually a knob you turn by hand, often in an awkward spot. The remote lets you keep a controller tucked away and adjust from where you actually are, which is a noticeable workflow improvement.

I am worried a second remote will clutter my desk, what is the workaround?

Pair both controllers to a single remote, then put the spare remote in a drawer. You get two zones of light (for example, desk and shelf) controlled by one small device on your desk.

Will the dim levels feel jumpy or coarse during focused work?

There are 10 levels, which is enough to land on a comfortable brightness for most people. If you need a quick jump between three set points, the 25/50/100 percent buttons give you that without scrolling.

Can I use the flashing modes as a Pomodoro or break signal?

Yes, that is a clever use. Set a slow flash on a shelf strip to signal a break, then switch back to static dim for the next work block. It is a low-tech visual timer that does not require a phone.

Will the RF signal interfere with my Wi-Fi, monitors, or audio gear?

No. 433MHz is a low-power control frequency that is separate from 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. It does not interfere with monitors, speakers, microphones, or typical home office electronics.

What if my home office has a long run of strip, can one controller handle it?

The controller supports up to 12A at 12V or 24V, which covers a long single run of 3528, 5050, 5630, or 3014 strips up to about 15 meters. For very long runs you can also split into two zones using the 2-pack to keep brightness consistent.

How do I pair the remote to the LED strip controller?

Power the controller, then press and hold the SPEED- and SPEED+ buttons on the controller for a few seconds until the connected strip flashes or blinks. The remote is now paired. Pairing only needs to be done once, and the memory function keeps the link through power cycles.

How do I reset the dimmer if I want to start over or pair to a new remote?

Power cycle the controller, then press and hold the SPEED- and SPEED+ buttons again to clear the pairing. The controller is now ready to be paired with any remote. You can also use this step to unpair a remote and dedicate a controller to a single zone.

How do I switch between static dim mode and the flashing modes?

Use the dedicated mode button on the remote to cycle through static dim, the 8 dynamic flashing patterns, and back to static. Speed is adjusted with the SPEED- and SPEED+ buttons, and brightness with the up and down dim buttons.

Does this work with my existing 3528 single color LED strip?

Yes. 3528 single-color strips running on 12V or 24V are fully supported. The controller sits between your power supply and the strip and dims all standard 3528 runs up to its 12A current limit.

Does this work with 5050, 5630, and 3014 single color LED strips?

Yes. The controller is designed for single-color 3528, 5050, 5630, and 3014 strips on 12V or 24V. It is not designed for RGB or RGBW strips, which need a 3-channel or 4-channel controller.

What is in the box, and what do I need to buy separately?

The box includes two mini RF LED dimmer controllers and two 11-key remotes. You will need to supply a compatible 12V or 24V LED power supply, your single-color LED strip, and basic low-voltage wire or strip-to-controller connectors. Strips and power supplies are not included.

Is it safe to leave this dimmer plugged in 24/7?

Yes, when used with a properly sized 12V or 24V power supply. Make sure the power supply is rated for at least the total wattage of the strips you connect, and that the controller's 12A current limit is not exceeded. Avoid enclosing the controller in a fully sealed, unventilated space.

Will the memory function drain my strip or waste power when the lights are off?

No. When the strip is off, the controller is in standby and only draws a tiny amount of current to remember the last setting. There is no meaningful power waste, and your strips will not be dimly lit in the off state.

What is the difference between an RF LED dimmer and an IR LED dimmer?

An IR dimmer needs a clear line of sight and a short range, like a TV remote. An RF dimmer uses radio frequency at 433MHz, works through walls and furniture, and reaches up to about 15 meters in open areas. For shelves, cabinets, and hidden installs, RF is the more practical choice.
