How did we get our start?
My brother and I got started working for our family's hardware store. We expanded online back in 2008 selling other brands' products. Then in 2018, we launched our own brand of products "612 Vermont".
What makes our products unique?
It depends on the product, but we are most known for our window candles that offer brighter lights, more esthetic designs, and in many cases patented lights.
What problem are we solving?
Our focus has been on improving the holiday products you have to choose where there typically has been little to no product evolution over the years.

Frequently Asked Questions
I do not want a tangled mess of excess cord — is 5 feet the right length for a small tree?
Yes, the 5-foot lighted length and 6-foot total length are purpose-built for mini tabletop trees and small craft projects so you are not left coiling 8 feet of unused green wire behind your display.
Will the warm glow feel too "busy" or cluttered in a minimalist room?
No, the clear mini bulbs give a soft, steady twinkle rather than a flashy effect, and the 3-inch spacing keeps the look calm and intentional rather than densely packed.
Can I hide the plug and cord completely for a clean, uncluttered look?
The brown wire, brown lead, and compact plug are designed to blend into wood, dark walls, and furniture backs — most customers route the cord behind a shelf or along a baseboard for a near-invisible setup.
Is 20 bulbs the right amount for restraint, or is 35 too many?
The 20-bulb version is ideal if you want minimal, intentional light; the 35-bulb version is also available if you want fuller coverage without changing the clean aesthetic — both use the same discreet brown wire.
Will this look out of place in a neutral, non-holiday room?
No — the brown cord and warm incandescent tone read as a simple ambient strand rather than a Christmas decoration, which is exactly why minimalist decorators use these year-round on shelves and in jars.
I want lighting that does not scream "holiday" — is this restrained enough?
Yes, the combination of brown wire (instead of festive green), clear mini bulbs, and warm incandescent glow is deliberately low-key and works in Scandinavian, Japandi, and modern farmhouse interiors without feeling seasonal.
Does the brown wire clash with white walls or light wood?
On pale backgrounds the cord will be subtly visible, but it reads as a natural, neutral line — most minimalist customers accept this and route the wire to the least visible edge of the display.
Can I use this as a subtle nightlight in a sparse bedroom?
Yes, customers describe these as softer and less bright than typical Christmas lights, which makes them ideal as a soothing nightlight strung across a curtain rod or along a low shelf.
How does this compare to LED fairy lights for a minimalist aesthetic?
Unlike many battery-operated LED fairy lights that can have a cool or greenish tone, these are warm incandescent on a discreet brown cord, plug-in, UL listed, and connectable — giving a cleaner, more intentional look with safer unattended use.
How is this different from standard green-wire mini lights?
The brown wire is the main visual difference — it blends into natural materials and dark backgrounds far better than the bright green wire of standard strings, which is the whole point for craft and styled-decor use.
Will the warm glow clash with my cool-toned, white, or gray minimalist palette?
Warm lighting actually softens cool-toned interiors and adds inviting contrast — most minimalist decorators use a single warm strand as the one "warm" element against an otherwise cool palette for balance.
Is this too dim to be useful, or bright enough to actually see?
At 9.6W with 20 bulbs it is intentionally a soft accent, not a primary light source — but that is the point for minimalist spaces where you want mood, not illumination, and the glow is clearly visible from across a room.
Do these look obviously "budget" or "craft-store"?
No, customers frequently mention the quality of the brown wire, the even bulb spacing, and the warm tone as reasons these look elevated and intentional rather than cheap or mass-market.
I am not into visible cords and plugs — is there a clean way to install this?
Yes — most minimalist users clip the strand to the back edge of a shelf, hide the plug behind a plant or stack of books, and use the 1-foot lead to position the first bulb right where the visible portion of the strand begins.
Will adding these make my space feel cluttered or overdone?
No — because the brown wire disappears and the bulbs are mini-sized, a single 5-foot strand reads as one quiet design element rather than a decoration, which is exactly the restraint minimalist decorators are looking for.
How do I connect multiple strands end-to-end?
Each strand has a male/female end connector on the single plug end — simply plug the male connector of one strand into the female connector of the next. You can connect up to 22 sets (max 216W combined load) on a single outlet.
Can I replace individual bulbs if one burns out?
Yes — these strands are commonly used as donor/replacement sources for prelit Christmas trees and garlands. Replacement mini bulbs of the same voltage can be swapped in, and the rest of the strand will continue to work even if one bulb is out.
Can I use these outdoors or in a covered porch?
No — this product is UL approved for indoor use only. For outdoor or covered-porch applications you would need a strand specifically rated for outdoor or wet-location use.
Will these work with my existing prelit tree or garland as a replacement strand?
Yes, this is one of the most common uses — the 20-bulb mini incandescent strand matches the bulb type, spacing, and voltage of most prelit trees and garlands, and the brown wire is a popular upgrade for anyone replacing a burnt-out section.
What is the difference between the 20-bulb and 35-bulb versions?
The 20-bulb version has a 5-foot lighted length with 6-foot total length, and the 35-bulb version has a 9-foot lighted length with 10-foot total length — both use the same brown wire, mini incandescent bulbs, and end-to-end connector, so you can mix versions on the same chain up to the 216W limit.
What is in the box when I order this?
You will receive one strand of 20 (or 35) clear incandescent mini bulbs pre-strung on brown wire with a 1-foot lead and an end-to-end connector — no bulbs, batteries, or extra accessories are required, and the strand is ready to plug in and use immediately.
Are incandescent mini bulbs dimmer than LED mini lights?
Incandescent bulbs produce a softer, warmer glow than typical LEDs, and use more energy per bulb — but the trade-off is the warm tone, no green or blue tint, and the classic look that many decorators prefer, especially for craft projects and vintage-style decor.
How long do incandescent mini bulbs typically last?
Customers report using these strands for multiple holiday seasons without issues — incandescent mini bulbs are rated for thousands of hours of use, and because the strand is connectable and bulbs are individually replaceable, the strand can be maintained for years rather than thrown out at the first failure.
What is the difference between brown wire string lights and copper wire fairy lights?
Brown wire string lights are plug-in, UL listed, incandescent, and end-to-end connectable for larger displays, while copper wire fairy lights are typically battery-operated, shorter, and used for delicate crafts — the brown wire is also more visible than ultra-thin copper but far more discreet than standard green Christmas wire.
